About the program
The Green Rhinos Program is a transformational
leadership program for people who love nature and wish to protect it. It facilitates a process by which they green, clean,
protect and enhance the natural world.
Created and implemented by ASED,
a non-profit organization, these Green Rhinos
(youth nature leaders) involve their peers, families and community in planting and take care of trees in the regions where the Program is in operation.
With your donation, the Green Rhinos will spread to Jalpaiguri, Kurseong, Dooars and other regions of Himalayas.
These young people will be selected from schools in these regions, trained by the team from ASED
and will create their own projects to afforest the Himalayas.
They will be provided technical and networking support by the ASED team. The Green Rhinos will plant, nurture and protect the trees they plant, taking help from their families and community.
